CONGRATULATIONS TINA HOOVER, MADISONVILLE:   Direct by Eb's Night Owl and dam direct by the Pusher.  She's done it all and does it well especially for a small package. This mare stands 14.3 tall and can go anywhere, safely and with stamina, PLUS smooth gate.  Hootie is a 12 year old Walking Horse Mare that we have had at the farm off and on for the past 5 years and I've enjoyed riding her.   Originally we bought her in foal to Hard Texas Cash and she had not been ridden for a couple of years prior so when she foaled Delilah we put her back under saddle and she did not disappoint us at all learning quickly the needs of her rider.  She is not a children's horse as she steps quickly but is easy to hold requiring mostly verbal commands and a light hand on the reins once she gets to know her rider especially.

She has speed and is smooth to ride. This mare is intelligent and extremely talented with a gait that is smooth as silk yet sharp to watch. 

I have had 2 knee replacements and ridden her through a good portion of the rehab time which is why she has not had another foal for us. This mare is for the rider who wants to enjoy a motor that is dependable and tireless but comes with a mare that can be controlled by voice commands or fingertip commands by the rider. While under halter this mare will stand motionless and ready as she was trained that way under saddle she is ready to go but listens to her rider so you need only smooch for speed no kicking needed. She is easy to mount even for me and stands tethered overnight while camping or in the stall with the same attitude. She is one of our alpha horses but not overly aggressive about it and if you are out there as well isn't aggressive at all about it. You can lead her by the chin, give her a haircut while tied to a post without cross tying or twitching, you can lead or load her without an issue, she'll back right out of a trailer and is a fun mare to ride. You really do not know that she's 14.2 when under saddle as she rides with her head high in the  bridle. I truly enjoyed trail riding this horse and when I found my jose mare put her up for sale.  She has amazing babies and

On the trails it is important to have a horse with some experience and sense. Hootie delivers this as you can see with my husband mounting Lucy in the background, horses in groups around her,and me not anywhere near her while trail riding in Kentucky. If you haven't been to Kentucky to ride in our wonderful state parks then you have missed a wonderful opportunity to enjoy yourself.
