This mare has seen pretty much everything and is rock solid with a glass ride that is more than pleasant especially of you have bad joints or aches.  JR's Covergirl has been with Genesis Tennessee Walking Horse farm since January of 2007 and the mount of choice for me during the initial 2 years of my knee surgeries when I couldn't put weight in my stirrups when riding. This mare allowed me the opportunity to ride as she is responsive and smooth as glass at any speed.  Covergirl quietly goes downhill and "slowly" through ditches or water. She is exceptionally reliable to ride with a little punch of character. She is owned by my partner Charlene of CarMil Mares and has been replaced by one of our early foals Delilah by Owl's Simply Irressistible and Hard Texas Cash not beause she isn't wonderful, simply put Charlent fell in love with the baby who is now grown. 

We have put everyone up on Covergirl and she does an amazing job for us. She is smooth as glass even after being put in the pasture a couple of months. TWHBEA mare JR's Covergirl is by Hard Cash Jr and a Delight of Pride Mare foaled 2/28/2003 and I've had her or ridden her since January of 2007. She does have a scar on her back off side front from a fence cut she had in April of 2010 and is in completely sound health per our vet Dr. Stone in Evansville Indiana who specializes in horses. She was not been ridden since April in deference to her injury to allow healing and as we had 15 other horses to work with but after more than 6 months off we got right on her and took her to Mammoth Cave Horse Camp for a 3 day ride and she did as amazing as ever with her smooth gait at any speed racing against my Margo Rita Jose'Jose' mare. 

This walking horse mare has a thick and flowing tail which is partially silver in color, a deep chestnut color, and absolutely beautiful face with elegent ears. Once again she is an amazing pleasure horse that is fully trained to trail ride in every situation and was my personal mount for 2 years when I had my first 2 knee surgeries to re-align the kneecap, lift the patella, and score the underside of the knee on each leg - what I lovingly call my lift kit / alignment / new tread before my partial knee replacements. This walking horse mare is seriously talented in gait and intelligence. She is not been bred and is also an easy keeper. Below you see 8 year old Abby Waide riding Covergirl at the farm in our 50x50 riding arena area on what is her first experience in riding a horse. You can also see Abby on The Right Girl red roan page who stands 16.3 hands on what would be her first official trail ride at Genesis as well in Kentucky. The important part of our program is to graduate the rider to horses that will be suitable for their level of riding and in an area where they can do so safely. You will note on the photos of Abby on The Right Girl her feet actually are in my stirrups as she is a year older and she would have ridden Covergirl had she still been at the farm. Covergirl was purchased by Charlene Carson a great friend and partner in CarMil Mares who's farm is just down the road from Genesis two years ago when she bought the weanling by Owl's Simply Irresistible, Delilah. Covergirl was her riding mount but Delilah is her passionate favorite as she watched her grow.
