GenesisTWH in Slaughters Kentucky: We had a big break in the weather with temperatures in the high 70's low 80's which we absolutely had to take advantage of so I checked online and found some reservations at Wranglers LBL and we loaded up. We had a great time and had the best time riding and visiting with friends especially as we have had sweltering temperatures in the low 100's so we couldn't ride.

This is the walking horse mare I fouond that I can not sell. I enjoy her too much, however, if you say my earlier news on medical issues you will remember she is the one who had the rare tumor issue that had to be removed last year so was out of commission for almost a year. SEE ARTICLE HERE.
Mark and I were fortunate enough to have friends who were there as well so we had great company to go with the weather and rode the #5 trail then came back in to regroup and headed back out on trail #1 around the lake before settling in for the day to get cleaned up and make dinner then really relax with karaoke at the campsite. In years past you could not do anything even close to what we did. You would get a warning and/or ticket for just playing a guitar at your campground, however, the leadership has changed and if you are respectful of your neighbors and keep it down, you can have fun with a karaoke system. It was the perfect day.
If you haven't been riding, the weather is great in Kentucky and take the time to get out and enjoy yourself with friends and your equine partner.
